Giclee Prints on Paper

Captured Memories feels that these are by far the finest prints ever made.
These prints have a rich velvety feel, deep blacks, vibrant colors and a depth that you can fall into. From the French word meaning "spray," a Giclee is a print created by using state-of-the-art computer technology to reproduce images. The image is printed on 100% high-quality water color paper (Somerset Velvet 100% Rag Paper). Museum quality inks are sprayed at extremely high resolution and are diffused into the paper. Artwork stunningly similar to the original is created -- with vibrant, accurate colors and rich surface textures.

Quality Control

Captured Memories inspects each and every one of the Giclee fine art prints to ensure you have the best vibrant, accurate colors of the original Pen and Inks drawings.

What is a Fillet?

A fillet is narrow strip of wood placed in the inside of a mat opening to provide an accent color or texture and enhances the drawing. It is like a frame within a frame.

What is Acid-Free Framing?

It means all materials used to frame an item do not contain any acids or chemicals that can harm the artwork.

What kind of damage can regular framing do?

Regular framing materials (cardboard, paper mats, etc.), all contain unstable acids and chemicals that over time will leach into the artwork permanently staining and damaging it.
